Burnout Syndrome is considered to have captured significant attention in psychological and labor research teams, since the detrimental effects on the health and social life of the worker influence their job performance. For this reason, the present study aims to: Establish the correlation between burnout syndrome and the work performance of nurses in the Emergency Service of an EsSalud Hospital in Lima - Peru, 2024.. Based on Methodology: The research is quantitative and focuses on quantifying and analyzing data, it is hypothetical-deductive technique, adopting a cross-sectional, correlational, applied and non-experimental approach, applied and non-experimental design since we will only observe. The Population of this project: Eighty nurses from the emergency area of an EsSalud hospital in Lima, Peru, will be present. The survey and the questionnaire will be the instruments that will be used to collect data. For this variable, an instrument will be used which was Novoa implemented and implemented in Peru in 2022. The validity of its content has been verified through expert judgments, with validation through sub-scales: (0.82), (0.80) (0.85) for the three dimensions in the first variable , and the Spearman Brown coefficient (0.750), (0.799) (0.538) in the second. The reliability of the Cronbach Alpha test was noted with a result of 0.865. For the initial variable and 0.940 for the second variable. The data will be organized in tables, thus allowing the preparation of the necessary statistics, and if necessary, they can be interpreted through tables and graphs. Finally, the correlation between both variables will be examined through the application of Spearman coefficient, which will allow determining the response to the established objective.
