Objectives: Determine the relationship between the degree of disability and anxiety disorder in patients with shoulder pain at the CERFINEURO Neurological Physical Rehabilitation Center, period 2024. Materials and Methods: The research was applied, non-experimental and was considered by 104 patients. of both sexes “Disability of the Shoulder, Arm and Hand Questionnaire (DASH)” and “Zung Anxiety Self-Assessment Scale (EAA)”. Both instruments were used before starting the patients' first physical therapy session and lasted between 25 and 30 minutes. Results: The age group between 36 and 40 years represents 26.92% of the sample. The sample is represented by a slight majority of males, with 52.88%, while 47.12% is made up of females. A majority prevalence of low weight patients is evident, with 24.04% of the total sample. 21.15% of the sample has normal weight. 16.35% of the sample is overweight. 14.42% of the sample has grade III obesity. 12.50% of the sample has grade I obesity. 11.54% of the sample has grade II obesity. 36.54% of patients have moderate functional disability. 28.85% have minimal functional disability. 18.3% have a maximum functional disability. Finally, 16.3% present signs of intense functional disability. 31.73% have moderate anxiety. 27.88% of the sample is within normal limits. 22.12% have moderate to severe anxiety. 18.27% present signs of marked to severe anxiety. Conclusions: There is sufficient evidence to affirm that the degree of disability variable and the anxiety disorder variable are related to each other.
