The objective of the investigation was to determine the type and degree of relationship between the flipped class model and academic performance in students of Applications of Calculus and Statistics of the production technology degree II cycle- TECSUP. Non-experimental, transversal, descriptive correlational work developed in a sample of 42 students, used as instruments: Checklist on the Flipped Class Model and Document analysis guide to identify the level of academic performance. The study concludes: there is a significant positive average relationship between the inverted class and the planning and execution dimensions with academic performance, having obtained a p - value (Sig. Bilateral) = .029; .012 and .019<.05, with Spearman's rho = .337*, .383* and .361*; Likewise, there is a high positive significant relationship between evaluation and academic performance in students, with p-value=.00<.05 and Spearman's rho = 0.713*; in flipped class and in planning, execution and evaluation, the majority reached the high level with 95.24% (40), 83.33% (35), 76.19% (32), and 80.95% (35) ; In academic performance, the majority of students with 97.62% (41) are at the passing level.
