Nuevo Tingo is located in the Tingo district, province of Luya, department of Amazonas. It has 1,265 inhabitants that have been increasing since the new cable car system was inaugurated in 2017, which would simplify the travel route to the Kuelap archaeological complex. This caused the aforementioned town to become a strategic point within the Chachapoyas tourist circuit; but, broadly speaking, wasted as such. Because the cable car bus boarding station is located on the outskirts of the city, the town has become a way station, in which tourists do not spend more time than necessary; in addition to the imminent competition represented as a tourist spot by the inn that was built at the beginning of the archaeological complex, which has a rest area and points of sale for handicrafts run by people from neighboring districts. Different from the tourist aspect, the town of Nuevo Tingo is characterized by its agriculture, which is the main economic force of the town. Currently, the female unemployment rate is one of its biggest problems, in addition to the lack of opportunities for the population due to the infrastructure problems they have, both in their educational institutions and in their communal and cultural nature. This project seeks to promote tourism for the benefit of the population; generating both communal and cultural spaces for the population, as well as spaces that promote tourism in the sector and can be used to improve its economic situation. Also seeking to provide specialized equipment that provides the necessary infrastructure to promote research and conservation of the Kuelap Archaeological Complex. The concept of the relationship between tourism and community is to generate an integration between both and that there is a symbiosis between them. It goes beyond designing just a tourist facility; The main objective is to empower the population both economically and culturally, generate public and recreational spaces, make the Nuevo Tingo town center a place that responds to the opportunities it has and improve the quality of life of its inhabitants
