This research addresses a current issue in the Peruvian family context, focusing on parental alienation as a form of psychological violence within family violence. Employing a descriptive and exploratory design, this thesis aims to propose the explicit inclusion of parental alienation as psychological violence under Law No. 30364, which seeks to eradicate violence within the family environment. To achieve this, a comprehensive analysis was conducted, encompassing the study of Peruvian legal norms, jurisprudential reviews, relevant legal doctrine, and comparative legislation. Data collection included interviews with legal experts and a documentary review of case files, which allowed for an understanding of how parental alienation affects minors' psychological well-being and how its legal handling could be improved in Peru. The main legal foundations supporting this proposal include the best interest of the child, the right to a life free from violence, and the protection of minors' mental and emotional health. Consequently, the study recommends amending Law No. 30364 to incorporate an explicit definition of parental alienation and specific measures for its prevention and treatment, based on Brazilian and Puerto Rican models. It is also essential to train professionals in identifying and managing such cases to strengthen child protection
