The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and application of safety bundles in critical care nurses at the General Hospital of Jaén in 2023. It was a quantitative, non-experimental and correlational study in a sample population of 50 nurses, to whom a questionnaire was applied that measured the level of knowledge and a checklist to measure the application of the bundles. The results showed that the level of knowledge of safety bundles in nurses was low in 40.0%, followed by medium level in 38.0% and high level in 22.0%. Meanwhile, the level of application of safety bundles in nurses was deficient in 53.1%, and regular in 48.7%. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and application of safety bundles in critical area nurses, a Chi square of 75.413ª was obtained, with a significance equal to 0.000, in coherence with this, greater knowledge can facilitate the early identification of risk situations and the adoption of appropriate corrective actions, which contributes to the reduction of adverse events and improves the quality of care provided to critical patients
