The present investigation entitled ""Organizational learning and absorption capacity: District Municipality of Huanchaco Case, 2022"", the relationship between organizational learning and absorption capacity in the District Municipality of Huanchaco during the year 2022 was investigated. The sample of The investigation consisted of 168 public servants of said municipality. The research design was quantitative, non-experimental, and descriptive, cross-correlational. To collect the data, a questionnaire consisting of 12 items to measure organizational learning and 8 items to assess absorptive capacity was used. The reliability of the instrument was evaluated using the Cronbach's Alpha reliability test, obtaining a coefficient of 0.899 for organizational learning and 0.941 for absorption capacity. The results of the investigation revealed a very strong and positive correlation of 0.947 between organizational learning and absorptive capacity in the District Municipality of Huanchaco. This significant association, supported by a two-sided significance of 0.00, indicates that as organizational learning improves, absorptive capacity also increases. In conclusion, this study demonstrates the importance of promoting organizational learning in the District Municipality of Huanchaco, since it is closely related to absorption capacity. Improving organizational learning can increase the organization's ability to assimilate and take advantage of new knowledge and resources, which can have a positive impact on its performance and adaptability. These findings provide a solid foundation for implementing strategies and programs that promote organizational learning in municipal settings
