Abstract: Determinar los factores Socioculturales que se asocian al Embarazo en
Adolescentes en el Hospital de Tingo María durante el periodo Enero-Junio 2015.
Material y Métodos: Se realizó un estudio de casos y controles, evaluándose 138
adolescentes, distribuidas en dos grupos, casos (69 adolescentes embarazadas) y
controles (69 adolescentes no embarazadas).
Resultados: En relación a la edad de las pacientes, el grupo de casos tuvo un promedio
de 17.48, en el grupo de los controles tuvo un promedio de 16.68 (p: 0,0002).Con
respecto al ingreso económico, tuvo un promedio en el grupo de casos 674.6 y en el
grupo de controles 399.69 (p: 0,0001). En lo que respecta al clima socio familiar
inadecuado 58% en los controles un 26.1% (p: 0,0001). En lo que respecta al
conocimiento de métodos anticonceptivos, estuvo presente en los casos en 62.3% y en
los controles en 89.9% (p :0,0002). En lo que respecta a grado de instrucción en los
casos en 50.5% y en los controles en 49.5% (p: 1,00). En lo que respecta al nivel
socioeconómico, este estuvo presente en los casos en 73.9% y en los controles en 49.3%
(p: 0,0051).
Conclusiones: El clima social familiar, el nivel económico bajo, el conocimiento de
métodos anticonceptivos se asocia al embarazo en adolescentes mientras que el grado de instrucción no se asocia al embarazo adolescente.
