Abstract: OBJETIVO: Identificar la prevalencia y factores de riesgo asociados a las
pacientes con prolapso de órganos pélvicos hospital de apoyo Sullana durante
2011- 2016.
METODOLOGÍA: Observacional, analítico, retrospectivo, estudio de diseño de
casos y controles. Los casos fueron tomados de pacientes diagnosticados con
distopias pélvicas de la unidad de ginecología y obstetricia en el hospital de
apoyo de Sullana del año 2011-2016, los controles fueron tomados pareando por
edad de los casos, que cumplieron los criterios de selección.
RESULTADOS: Se estudiaron 230 pacientes en el período 2011-2016, 115
casos de pacientes mujeres con prolapso de órganos pélvicos y 115 controles,
en cuanto al grado de instrucción :se evidenció sin instrucción superior
111(96.52%) comparado a los controles 108(93.91%), valor p=0.354; con
respecto al estado civil, las pacientes con prolapso tuvieron pareja estable
81(70.43%), comparado a los controles que tuvieron pareja estable 66(57.39%),
valor p=0.039, con respecto al estado nutricional, en las pacientes con exceso
de IMC en el grupo que tenían prolapso fue 74(64.35), comparado a las
pacientes de grupo control que tenían exceso de IMC 66(57.39%), valor p=0.28.
Se encontró una prevalencia de 1, 21% en pacientes con POP, en cuanto a la
edad, la mediana fue 57, del mismo modo la mediana de la gestación 6, siendo
gran multípara en 54 casos con un OR 4.00 (p<0.001). De acuerdo a la
clasificación de Baden-Walker, el grado más frecuente fue cistocele III con 68
casos abarcando un 93.151%, en cuanto a la clasificación de POPQ, la más
frecuente fue la de grado III, con 19(45.238%) pacientes .
CONCLUSIONES: La prevalencia de pacientes con POP es 1.21% y los factores
de riesgo que propician a la aparición de prolapso de órganos pélvicos fueron:
edad, la obesidad, una record de gestaciones por encima de 4 así como cirugías
previas de origen abdomino pélvicas con una significancia < 0.001.
