This thesis explores the role of female leadership in social entrepreneurship, focusing on the factors that lead to the sustainability of social projects led by women within the Kunan network. Through a qualitative case study approach, the study aims to understand the characteristics of female leadership, through individual interviews focusing on the challenges and strategies for project sustainability based on their experience. Key objectives include identifying internal and external factors that contribute to the success of women social entrepreneurs within Kunan. The theoretical framework examines the economic, social and environmental determinants of sustainability in women-led enterprises. The study highlights the importance of women leaders' commitment to social and environmental causes and responsible business practices. The importance of entrepreneurship as a tool for promoting sustainable development and combating inequality is highlighted, as well as the need for a thorough understanding of the factors that enable women entrepreneurs to continue with their projects. Emphasis is placed on the sensitivity to social and environmental causes that women leaders in social entrepreneurship tend to show, which makes them likely to adopt responsible business practices and contribute to the success of business management. By shedding light on the experiences of women entrepreneurs in Kunan, this research aims to support the growth of sustainable and inclusive social enterprises and seeks not only to expand knowledge about women's entrepreneurship in Peru, but also to highlight the valuable contribution that female leadership can offer in promoting economic, social and environmental sustainability in the field of social entrepreneurship.
