This analysis aims to examine the impact of financial management on the progress of SMEs in the textile sector. The results obtained show that financial management for a company, regardless of its size, is based on the strategy of establishing, controlling, and supervising all financial resources, and managing business resources through income and expenditure control. On the other hand, we have the SMEs in the textile sector, known as enterprises created out of the need to generate employment for people who have knowledge in the art of garment making. This type of enterprise has been growing rapidly in recent years. In Peru, SMEs account for 95% of the business universe. Profitability is an important indicator for SMEs. Profitability is linked to making sound decisions and having access to financing. This involves strategically planning, supervising, and directing investment, as well as financing and managing their available economic resources for SMEs in the textile sector of Huamanga, Ayacucho.
