In this research, eight geotechnical profiles were chosen and defined for which it was proposed to determine the seismic response on the surface through the propagation of one-dimensional waves with the analysis: linear, equivalent linear and nonlinear, in order to evaluate the differences between them according to the characteristics of each profile. Seismic records with concentration of low periods were used, which were from Lima in 1966 and 1974, and from Maule in 2010. We have determined throughout the research that one-dimensional analyses vary according to the geotechnical conditions under which they are analysed and according to the intensity of the earthquake, analyzing for return periods of 475, 975 and 2475 years for granular soils, cohesive soils and profiles with water table level.
