This work of professional competence deals with the design and implementation of an advanced telemetry system for tower cranes, which improves operational management and contributes to the modernization of industrial processes. This technological solution allows the remote switching on and off of the cranes, as well as the automated recording of the hours of use. By employing an ESP32 microcontroller in combination with a SIM800L cellular communication module, the system is integrated with GSM technology, ensuring connectivity and accurate data collection. The incorporation of telemetry facilitates real-time monitoring, which optimizes decision-making and enables preventive maintenance planning based on actual operating data. This reduces downtime and extends equipment life, increasing productivity and reliability. Automated data logging gives operators and managers instant access to key information, driving more efficient and safer resource management. This project stands out for its focus on operational safety and its ability to incorporate emerging technologies, bringing significant improvement in the control and monitoring of heavy equipment in industrial environments. The implementation demonstrates a move towards the digitization of processes, optimizing performance and asset management in the construction and crane operations sector.
