The OIT (2021) reports that approximately 2 million people die in accidents. In Peru, 3,433 construction accidents were recorded in 2021. The research presents a safety plan based on the Deming cycle (PHVA) and computer vision to reduce fall from height accidents on construction scaffolds. The cycle consists of four phases: Plan, Do, Check and Act. In the Plan phase, clear goals and objectives are established, and risks associated with falls from height are identified. In the Do phase, the safety plan is executed, implementing the computer vision and complying with safety measures, and promoting safe practices. In the Verify phase, the results are evaluated by collecting data on accidents and safety improvements. In the Act phase, actions are taken based on the results. The results of other research, such as the neural network achieving 90.42% in image segmentation and a real-time detection model achieving 85.48% in detecting dangerous behavior. In addition, the security plan based on the proposed Deming cycle and computer vision achieved 92.27% effectiveness according to security experts. In summary, the safety plan based on the Deming cycle is effective in improving construction safety, but a constant commitment from all parties involved is needed to ensure a safer work environment and protect workers, as well as improve the overall quality of the company.
