This research examines the collections management of Corredores ABC through a qualitative approach. Internal data from the organization was collected and the analysis of indexed articles related to the problem was carried out. From the internal analysis, it was found that the company has faced challenges in its collection process, which has led to an increase in the cancellation of policies due to non-payments in its client portfolio. This study proposes three alternatives to optimize the current workflow through various solutions, including the implementation of a modern policy management system, the creation of standardized process flows and the automation of payment reminders. Identifying the latter as the best solution alternative for the company. The chosen option would reduce the number of policies cancelled due to non-payment, the time and resources dedicated to manual collection management, allowing greater agility and efficiency in account follow-up. In addition, sales agents would not be harmed by the loss of commission and management could focus on their core functions. It is also recommended that, as changes arise in the market or the company, it may evaluate the other proposed solution alternatives in the future. Finally, this work can be used as a precedent for companies that experience similar problems in debt collection management.
