In the construction field and retail sector, the economic closing time of a project post-execution through reconciliation presents a challenge that impacts specific clients, contracting companies, and supervisors. The traditional use of basic tools in these projects highlights the need for new tools or software to streamline processes, such as Revit for project modeling and Trimble Connect as a common data environment. In this study, a monitoring proposal is implemented for the project closing stage using Revit and Trimble Connect to improve indicators previously identified as high against the company. Following the development of the work plan, the results show improvements in the three indicators identified in the research. The reconciliation time for the project is 10 days, the percentage of observed items decreased to 9.4%, and the percentage difference in reconciled amounts reduced to only 0.81%. In conclusion, using a common data environment and modeling software enables better project information management, thereby reducing time and improving formal relationships with various stakeholders. It should be noted that results and potential improvements may vary depending on the project's scale.
