The abutments of the Huallaga Bridge were founded using the technique of drilled piles with a diameter of 2.00 meters and a length of 20.00 meters at both the right and left abutments, totaling 6 piles. Large and noisy equipment was used for the construction of these elements for a work period of 112 days. This report proposes to evaluate the construction of deep foundations for the right and left abutments of the Huallaga Bridge using the micropile technique with diameters of 0.25 meters and lengths of 20.00 meters deep. It is considered that the soil at the left abutment is granular and at the right abutment is granular and of low plasticity. The evaluation of the load capacity of the bulb or base of the micropile was conducted using the Zweck method and the Limit States, resulting in the requirement to construct 48 micropiles for the right abutment and 52 micropiles for the left abutment. The execution time for the 100 micropiles is estimated at 67 days, with a cost similar to that considered for executing the foundation with piles. The evaluation concludes that it would have been beneficial in terms of both cost and time to apply the micropile technique for the deep foundations of the right and left abutments of the Huallaga Bridge based on the results obtained.
