The objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) methodology, partially implemented at TDV in 2023 and 2024, to improve its planning and synchronization capacity between key areas. The S&OP methodology was selected as a multidisciplinary tool to optimize decision-making, improve the availability of raw materials, and ensure more efficient production aligned with demand. The findings showed that the implementation of S&OP generated significant improvements in response times and the reduction of costs associated with penalties, by optimizing the planning and use of production capacities. This strategy boosted net sales to USD 65 million in 2023 and raised customer satisfaction to 82%, it also allowed TDV to have a better image and achieve a position in the global market. In conclusion, the implementation of S&OP has been effective in reducing losses and improving TDV's competitiveness; however, it is necessary to expand the methodology to all main contractors to maximize its potential and consolidate the results obtained.
