The purpose of the presented work is the effective application of the Lean Manufacturing 5S, SMED, TPM and Work Standardization tools in the production line of a metalworking company by increasing the 3 components of Total Equipment Efficiency (OEE). The metalworking sector, although it has an increase in demand, the production line under study presents low efficiency values in the machining of parts, being this 36.10% (OEE indicator), having low operating profits in the manufacturing service, being 38% of profit, compared to 62% that represents the costs for the manufacturing service. A work model is presented that includes the most critical factors that intervene in the problem for the implementation of tooling, complemented with manufacturing tools to reduce stops in the machining process and the reduction of the economic impact that represents S/ 808,597.83 for maintenance costs, inoperative labor, unused raw material and purchases of necessary tools. Finally, after the implementation of the proposed tools, a considerable increase in the Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) was achieved, with an increase of 42.33%, and the Setup Time was reduced by 57 minutes, which demonstrates the correct implementation of the tools within a metalworking company. Although there are additional indicators, both the OEE and the Setup Time are those that show the greatest improvement compared to what was expected. The implementation of this project also has considerable savings, with the TIR obtained being greater than the COK in the three scenarios proposed.
