The field of audiovisual productions on streaming platforms is becoming increasingly relevant and impacting the daily consumption of the audience. Platforms such as Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, among others, are experiencing growth both in terms of views and in the amount of content they produce internally. Fortunately, these platforms are using their reach to address topics that were previously considered taboo, such as mental health. However, according to research conducted in this same study, the representation of characters suffering from any mental illness or disorder may be associated with both negative and positive characteristics, thus generating a not so clear-cut picture. For this reason, a research call addressed to Peruvian university students and graduates will be carried out through two focus groups to analyze such streaming series, as well as other productions previously seen by the audience itself, with the aim of collecting their experiences and opinions regarding these characters and their representation. Consequently, the main contribution of this research lies in presenting an analysis based on the public's perception of how they analyze projects of this type and the impact they generate in the masses.
