In this research, the epistemological, deontological and teleological bases of the curricular training programs in digital marketing in graduate schools in Peru were investigated and discussed. A qualitative approach methodology was chosen, following the hermeneutic-critical paradigm. The technique used was documentary analysis and the instrument used was the documentary analysis guide; The sample was made up of five Peruvian universities. An exhaustive review of the curricular plans of these universities was carried out, the graduate profile was analyzed; in addition, the review of the academic products resulting from the programs. For the processing, interpretation and discussion of results, the curricular plans were contrasted, structuring the similarities and particularities of each of them. Likewise, the information obtained was compared in reference to the graduate profile and the research trends of the academic products resulting from these programs were identified. It is concluded that the academic programs analyzed contain, for the most part, instrumental training that must be complemented with thematic guidelines linked to: scientific research, social responsibility, sustainability, the circular economy, professional ethics, among other thematic axes that promote the integrative vision of the professional and his role in the positive transformation of society. The theoretical foundations of the profession must be reinforced in its curricular plans; it is necessary to reflect on the causes of the poor approach to the sciences that nourish this discipline and its consequences on the profile of graduate, it is necessary to enhance the teleological aspects of the profession and Greater emphasis needs to be placed on the ethical and deontological aspect of the educational programs studied.
