This project originated from collecting information on 29 orders for which clients submitted complaints due to reprocessing and penalties, as their orders were not being attended to correctly or within the agreed time frame. Additionally, out of the 100 orders that arrived at the company in 2022, only 71 were fulfilled successfully and within the agreed deadline. This indicates that the company had a low compliance rate in order delivery, with an OFR of 71% compared to the average standard of 96.10% in the metalworking sector. The main objective is to significantly increase the fulfillment rate in order delivery by applying industrial tools such as 5S, Poka-Yoke, and process standardization. After implementation, the fulfillment rate in order delivery was significantly increased, and the critical activities of the production process were optimized, reducing the cycle time from 1440 to 1270 minutes, which allowed us to handle 13 more tower orders within the year. Furthermore, no claims for reprocessing or penalties were reported. Finally, we found and cited articles that developed similar solutions and were successful. For this reason, we promote and direct the ideas of this project so that other metalworking companies can implement them and address the challenges that arise.
