The present research aims to design the foundations of the El Carbón modular bridge located in the Tambo Grande district, Province of Piura. The design considered the phenomenon of scouring, as poor analysis and calculation of this factor have been major causes of bridge failures. For this purpose, an innovative method was employed using the HEC-RAS software for the scouring calculation. This software considers various parameters, enabling more accurate results. Once the scouring analysis was completed, the use of piles in the foundation was proposed. The piles reached a depth where the river's water flow erosion does not cause damage to the bridge substructure. The effectiveness of the piles ensured the stability of the structure and future prevention of repairs that the bridge structure might require.
