The case study of the Ricardo Palma Clinic is presented, regarding the ICU area where the main equipment is the high frequency ventilator that provides specialized services to the most critical patients. As a result of the post pandemic, the number of patients with respiratory problems increased by 30%, which generated a high demand for the use of the equipment. The low availability has generated economic losses in billing due to the costs of unscheduled maintenance. To address this problem, the contribution of the tools of the 02 pillars of TPM, which are the Planned and Autonomous Maintenance Pillar, was fundamental. The result of the implementation was significant with an 8% increase in equipment availability, which contributes to an important saving of S/ 62333 per year. This achievement has been generated through the Mean Time Between Failure indicators, increasing an average of 751 hours of operation and reducing the Average Time to Repair (MTTR) by 40%.
