The Order Fulfillment metric is a metric that is closely related to customer satisfaction, therefore, maintaining an adequate level of customer satisfaction is essential to maintain the competitiveness of an organization in a globalized and competitive environment. There are various factors that decrease the level of service in an organization; for example, lack of production planning, demand obstacles and inefficient inventory management, among others. This research proposes a planning model using a combination of tools: standardized work and the 5S methodology, which has as its main objective the reduction of penalties for unfulfilled orders. The validation of the proposal will occur through a pilot implementation in the case study organization. This company reported an Order Fulfillment level of 90.95% in 2021. However, the minimum industry standard is 95%, which indicates a low level of service in the delivery of orders. It is expected that, by adopting the proposed model, an increase in the company's service level of 95% will be achieved.
