The purpose of the following research work is to present an alternative solution to the problem of the supply chain area, since currently the supply according to the area of demand carried out by the study to cover the need of the Peruvian market is not met. The research is carried out through an innovative approach to improve the process of the supply chain of the production of pharmaceutical products, the study is based on two methodologies, one of them quantitative methodology where the analysis is determined by numerical data, additionally uses qualitative methodology and this is determined by the interviews that were carried out with certain employees who are involved in the supply chain process for the same fulfillment of their functions, descriptive data, technological resources as sources and/or data not unified through numbers. The detailed results allow us to identify the changes that the pharmaceutical laboratory would have to improve the supply chain, guaranteeing greater productivity while having control of inventories in general. In this way, we conclude that the implementation of SAP and internal communication between related areas would obtain better sales results and this includes the fulfillment of total shipments to customers. Another result that would be obtained based on the implementation of SAP is savings. since no extra-inputs would be acquired due to the lack of control over the expiration of the inputs, and this would be positive for future sales results.
