The main purpose of the project is the implementation of an authentication system through biometric validation, for banking processes using an image input that the user provides, through a selfie or an identity document such as DNI, immigration card or passport. In this way the comparison is made with a database; either that of the National Registry of Identification and Civil Status - RENIEC or the company's database that stores the biometric credentials, previously validated. The facial recognition system was used with the Haar cascade technique, which uses the Python programming language and the OpenCv2 image processing library. At the end of the process, an accuracy of 95.5% was obtained in the implementation of the identification system, since it was developed under an algorithm based on Deep Learning whose focus is unsupervised learning, which adds flexibility to the system, considering that the general approach is that of a mobile application.
