In recent years, the planet is changing, endangering human life and other species. This is because there is an increase in greenhouse gas levels. In this regard, mining activities represent between 4% and 7% of global emissions of these gases. In this context, this document focuses on the reduction of CO2 equivalent in the final transportation activities of concentrates and materials in a mining company, whose objectives are aligned with the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals to reduce the impacts of global warming. According to everything mentioned, unnecessary trips and the use of high-consumption vehicles were identified as the main causes of the problem. To reduce unnecessary travel, backhaul and standardization through web applications were implemented. Likewise, autonomous maintenance, the incorporation of GNV units and the approval of high consumption vehicles. The entire proposal was made under the Deming cycle, at each stage the necessary tools and actions were developed taking into consideration the fundamental indicators such as CO2 equivalent, percentage of units circulating empty, percentage of breakdowns and failures, percentage of rework, percentage of old vehicles and the percentage of units with GNV. This document describes the successful implementation of the proposal, which is profitable and with which a reduction of 370t of CO2 equivalent was achieved in the operations involved.
