The Process Management project to obtain efficient business management and standardized operational activity, for Service Enterprises Providers (EPS) of drinking water and public sanitation in the national territory, was born from the problems that are evident in their deficient management of the service and problems in financial sustainability. This work was carried out in Lima between July and December 2022, in the format of simultaneous workshops for the Administrative, Operational and Commercial areas of 48 representative entities of the sector (Large, Medium and Small) and the participation of 248 workers with extensive kowhow in its function. Under the considerations and best practices of the PMI (Project Management Institute) for project governance, the BPM (Business Process Management) approach as a theoretical framework for the treatment of processes, the SIPOC tools (Suppliers, Inputs, Process, Outputs, Customers ) for the characterization, GUT (Severity, Urgency, Tendency) for the information gathering techniques and the Bizagi Modeler for the diagramming of these, we arrived at the creation of 398 processes belonging to the three operational areas, which configure the mapping of the data journey on these and the assurance of future automated interoperability with other institutions, which due to the nature of the public-private service they provide are required to have (SUNAT, SUNASS, MEF, Ministry of Housing, Peru Purchases, Banks, etc.). The deliverables were the documentation of the processes (characterization matrix and monitoring and compliance indicators) and the diagramming of their automation were accepted by the technical entity of the Service at the National level (SUNASS: National Superintendence of Sanitation Services) and the BID (Inter-American Development Bank) as sponsor and financier of the project respectively.
