In recent years, the textile industry has been considered one of the most notorious and participatory in the country's economy. Most of the SMEs dedicated to this industry do not have a precise and convenient knowledge to develop a model that helps to manage their inventories. This research project proposes an inventory management model using the CPFR methodology in a textile company composed of tools such as demand forecasting to estimate future sales more accurately and a periodic review system to determine the quantities to be purchased, all this in order to improve the supply of raw materials and therefore the fulfillment of the production plan. The validation is based on the results of the indicators, where at the beginning of the study the stock breakages reached peaks of 26% and with the application of an inventory management model these were reduced to 17.6%. In addition, the service level increased from 74% to 82.4% and the forecast accuracy with respect to recorded sales increased from 72.1% to 97.1%.
