This work proposes to design an environmental monitoring alarm system for data centers of the company WOW TEL S.A.C, using the zabbix platform, based on regulations and standards such as ANSI/TIA-942B, ETP-ISO/IEC TS 22237-4 and ASHRAE. The main purpose is to monitor the data center environment using strategically placed sensors that measure temperature, humidity, vibration, and the presence of water. This approach aligns with the standards, ensuring the integrity of critical equipment such as servers, routers and switches in the racks, with the objective of identifying abnormal environmental conditions. The research also contemplates improvements in the design of the actual current data center monitoring system to avoid problems of overheating of network equipment and condensation of electronic devices. In addition, the aim is to optimize response time through continuous monitoring of the data center environment. In the design proposal, the integration of smart sensors will be prioritized, and personalized alerts will be configured on the Zabbix platform, through the problem matrix, which will be designed in a dashboard, which will allow detailed and proactive supervision from the server, so that NOC operators can monitor incidents in real time and visualize the status of the sensors within the data center environment. Fault tolerance will be explored in the zabbix platform to maintain operational continuity in unforeseen situations. This comprehensive approach will strengthen the security and efficiency of the data center, contributing substantially to the robustness of WOW PERÚ's technological infrastructure.
