In public administration, motivation is not only related to money but also to non-economic factors. Achieving commitment among organizational members requires examining their needs and motivating factors. Social recognition, interaction with colleagues or feeling useful are common responses to the question of why we work. If work motivation were a purely economic issue, then increasing work motivation alone would be enough to motivate most employees. Getting paid at the end of the month is not the only reason we work. People also work for different and diverse reasons, such as personal, professional and social development. Furthermore, a person's social activities and reputation are often a consequence of their occupation. In fact, work satisfies part of our needs and gives meaning to part of our life.
