In this professional sufficiency work, the aim was to identify the most optimal solution for addressing the causes of the problematic situation that Fariprint S.A.C. faces in its merchandise dispatch process. To achieve this, information was gathered through interviews, historical data, and process observation, revealing that packaging and documentation activities were the most time-consuming. Additionally, an analysis was conducted on the number of complaints regarding delivered orders and the frequency of issues in the dispatch process. This uncovered that the highest number of complaints were related to physical defects, and the most significant delays were attributed to packaging and documentation issues. Further examination of the packaging activity revealed that the main causes of delay and errors were due to the doubling of the number of orders and misinterpretations of instructions in the order forms. To address these issues, relevant background information and theoretical foundations were consulted, leading to the formulation of three proposals. A comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of these proposals highlighted that the option of implementing a WMS with RFID was superior, as it allows for a 59% reduction in time and a 38% reduction in costs.
