Peru is part of the Open Government Partnership, which is an international platform for national reformers committed to make their governments more transparent, accountable and improve their responsiveness to its citizens. The aim of the research is a comparison of efforts and progress made by Peru in open government issues related to another country, which present economic, social and political similarities. This will reveal its performance internationally and identify initiatives that could be applied successfully in the country. Among the results of the research the relationship of common categories, the degree of progress and the level of impact of the commitments, as well as the percentage they represent new commitments and those already being worked on by the government before is joining OGP. The paper also shows greater impact initiatives that have been completed or show substantial progress and that can be considered as examples for future action plans.
