The concentration of sales in the local market presents risks and disadvantages that every company must avoid. Competing in a limited market, being exposed to the country's economic conditions and cycles, lower global competitiveness, loss of business opportunities, limited access to new technologies and the impossibility of obtaining economies of scale, are some of the risks and disadvantages. of not opting for an internationalization process. The present work analyzes this problem in the company Sermi, a company with Peruvian capital with more than 40 years of experience in the manufacture of agricultural machinery, which allocates 100% of its sales to the local market and with no attempts to participate in the market. global. Without a doubt, carrying out an internationalization process is not easy. The research consulted indicates that there are internal and external factors that limit the process, in addition, the theoretical models cited indicate that the internationalization process is gradual and full of learning. In the research, the internal and external factors that affect the company are analyzed, strategies are proposed and their convenience is analyzed through an evaluation matrix. The chosen strategy is justified in line with the business objectives. All silver strategies are complementary and can be carried out as the company gains experience in the international market.
