In this research, an analysis of the techniques and tools of narrative journalism for writing about social conflicts in Peru is carried out. For this, it was determined the choice of two contemporary Peruvian chroniclers who published texts of this topic in their respective books. Also, the number of selected chronicles responds to two per author. They are Marco Avilés and Joseph Zárate, who published, between 2016 and 2018, the titles Where We Come From the Cholos and Wars of the Interior, respectively. In a conflict scenario, the presence of journalism is necessary. Narrative journalism, then, is characterized by keeping them present by the journalist's own style and gaze. From this, this research concludes relevant, because it will allow comparing the approach of each chronicler to write about social conflicts.
