The main objective of this research is to determine the incidence of interferences found through the BIM methodology in the design of structural elements of 3 multifamily buildings in Lima. To do this, BIM compatibility was carried out using AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks programs for each of these projects, where in the end, an Excel report was generated with all the observations found, which were classified by type and level of impact. Then, the most common cases of interference in these projects were compiled and the most critical ones were chosen, which were structurally analyzed using the Robot Structural and ETABS programs. From the results obtained from the cases of pipes passing through beams and the excessive load in the slab, it was possible to demonstrate whether the designer's solution was correct and this was verified mainly through the resulting deflections in the beam and slab analyzed. For both cases, it was found that the proposals provided by the designers were correct, verifying the values of the deflections using a formula stipulated in the Peruvian Standard E.020 “Loads”, which resulted in a change and optimization in the structural design in both observations for their respective projects.
