In this investigation, the design of 4 regular 40-story buildings has been proposed. They are made of reinforced concrete and with a rigid core structural system. In addition, the design of post-tensioned slabs, which will be proposed as a construction improvement. As a first area, with the structured proposal of the building plans, square and rectangular, the pre-dimensioning of the structural elements was carried out. Then, the model was raised in the ETABS software, to calculate the period of the infrastructure, which, as the periods were high, for which the minimum value of C/R requested by the 0.11 standard was taken. Once the linear static analysis has been carried out, the spectral modal analysis is carried out to verify the calculation of the mezzanine drifts and to observe if it complies with the requirements of the standard. Consequently, the steel of walls, beams and columns was calculated. Carrying out the reinforcement of these. Next, the hinges are assigned and the Pushover analysis is carried out, calculating the capacity curves of the buildings. In addition, the post-tensioned slabs were designed both by bending, shear and punching, which was taken at 0.30m for a square plan and 0.38m for a rectangular plan. For modeling in the ETABS software, a solid slab with an Ig was proposed. 10% to appear as a post-tensioned slab. Earthquakes were taken to obtain a historical spectrum in addition to the standard spectra to observe the non-linear behavior of buildings. Earthquakes were chosen corrected and scaled to obtain an average of spectra in addition to the elastic and inelastic spectrum of the standard to observe if the capacity of the buildings meets the Peruvian demand.
