The purpose of this research is to evaluate the possible lack of representativeness in the amplification values for stiff and intermediate soils as proposed by the Peruvian Seismic Resistant Design Standard E.030. The development consists of performing a linear equivalent analysis on geotechnical profiles in the cities of Lima and Callao. As a starting point, seismic signals occurring in the subduction zone were collected and successively corrected in the SeismoSignal software and scaled to a uniform hazard spectrum through the SeismoMatch software. On the other hand, twenty-five geotechnical profiles were compiled with geophysical prospecting tests comprising soils of intermediate and very stiff characteristics, and shear modulus reduction and damping curves were estimated for each profile. Finally, the one-dimensional soil profile was generated using the Deepsoil v7.0 program, and the previously calculated parameters were introduced to obtain the surface response. The results showed that the average soil amplification and seismic amplification parameters are higher than the E.030 standard for very stiff and intermediate soils.
