Objective Translate into Spanish, adapt linguistically and verify the reliability of the questionnaire "The Five-part questionnaire" in students from 13 to 17 years old and teachers / administrators from 24 to 60 years old. Materials and methods A mixed study of translation-back-translation, linguistic adaptation and test-retest reliability was carried out. A standardized and structured procedure was used for translation-back-translation and linguistic adaptation. Once the adapted version of the questionnaire was obtained, it was applied in two population groups. The first made up of adolescents from 13 to 17 years old and the second made up of adults from 24 to 60 years old. Results Once the final translation, linguistic adaptation and reverse translation of the questionnaire were carried out, the comprehensibility analysis resulted in an Aiken V index =1 and a mean and standard deviation of the compressibility analysis of 10±0 [ 0 to 10 possible points]. Reliability of the test-retest results’ analysis demonstrated a substantial internal consistency between both samples (p<0.0001). Conclusions The translated instrument "The Five-part questionnaire on hypermobility” was adequately adapted to the cultural context of Peru resulting in high reliability among the study groups ages 13 to 17 years old and 24 to 60 years old.
