In Peru, there is a great need to optimize the medical referral process in pediatric oncology patients, since infant mortality in the country is directly linked to Cancer due to the increase in cases of significant deaths in recent years. In health centers nationwide, there is a delay of 6 to 12 months in the care of pediatric oncology patients with medical referrals by pediatric doctors in first-level hospitals. The situation defined, generates less probability of timely treatment for children. who has this condition. For this reason, this project proposes the automation of the process through the mobile solution with the following functionalities: (1) Integrated interaction and registration of the actors in the medical referral process, (2) Support for timely diagnosis with information from firsthand, (3) Registration of reference tickets and medical appointments, and (4) Creation of reports on compliance with the attention times of the actors in the process. To validate the project, functional tests were carried out with a pediatrician, an oncology specialist and the EsSalud pediatric patient attorney, in order to obtain response times with the mobile solution. The results showed that the time of the reference process is reduced to 9 days, that is, the proposed solution manages to optimally optimize the process between [95% - 97%]. This project focuses mainly on a social benefit to the community for the timely treatment of pediatric cancer patients based on early diagnosis and care.
