Background: University Social Responsibility (USR) represents the ethical approach and moral responsibility of universities towards society. This approach seeks to generate and use new scientific and technological knowledge to address social problems, and to train professionals with competent education and human quality. Objective: To determine the level of perception of University Social Responsibility among undergraduate students at the Faculty of Dentistry of UPCH, Lima, Peru, in 2020. Methods: The study was cross-sectional, using surveys conducted through Google Forms. Students from the 1st to 5th year enrolled in the 2020 semester at the Faculty of Dentistry of UPCH were included. The data were analyzed to compare independent groups according to gender, age, years of study, and participation in volunteer activities, using statistical significance tests with STATA software (version 15). Results: Of the 334 students, 74.25% were women and 25.75% were men. Statistically significant differences were found between subgroups in the dimension of Responsible Campus (P=0.049), while no significant differences were found in the dimension of Professional and Citizenship Education (P=0.881). Conclusions: The level of perception of University Social Responsibility among students at the Faculty of Dentistry is favorable; however, there are areas that require improvement.
