The objective of this study was to describe the spatial and temporary behavior of positive cases of swine diseases reported through the weekly epidemiological bulletins of the National Agrarian Health Service (SENASA) at Peru during 2010 and 2018 period. To this end, the bulletins issued by SENASA and found in its website were used. The information obtained was transferred to a database and summarized in frequency tables with respect to year, month and region of each swine disease. The results showed that classical swine fever (439 and 3247) and porcine epidemic diarrhea (78 and 2597) presented the highest number of outbreaks and cases during the study period. Regarding the timing of outbreaks and cases by months, it is observed that some diseases occur throughout the year and others have been reported in specific months. Finally, Lima is the region that presents the highest number of outbreaks and cases of diseases such as classical swine fever, porcine epidemic diarrhea, transmissible gastroenteritis of swine, and porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome. Based on this study’s results, it is suggested to create training and health education programs aimed at producers in order to improve production conditions.
