Abstract: El objetivo principal de este estudio consiste en examinar las repercusiones de la exportación
de productos tradicionales en el Producto Bruto Interno de la región de Cusco durante el
periodo comprendido entre 2005 y 2019. En términos de metodología, se adopta un enfoque
descriptivo con un diseño cuantitativo, caracterizado por un enfoque no experimental y un
alcance correlacional, La selección de la población y la muestra se basó en datos relacionados
con las exportaciones y el PBI correspondiente a los años mencionados. La recopilación de
datos se llevó a cabo mediante la técnica de análisis documental, utilizando una guía específica
para este propósito.
En consecuencia, los hallazgos de la investigación revelan lo siguiente: el impacto generado
por las exportaciones tradicionales de la región Cusco en el Producto Bruto Interno a lo largo
del periodo comprendido entre 2005 y 2019 es estadísticamente significativa y positiva, tanto
en términos de precios constantes como corrientes del PBI. Con niveles de significancia de
0.031 y 0.037, respectivamente, se observa que un aumento de un millón de dólares
estadounidenses en las exportaciones tradicionales de Cusco se traduce en un incremento de
0.714 millones de soles en el PBI a precios constantes, y un aumento de 0.701 millones de
soles en el PBI a precios corrientes.
The main objective of this study is to examine how the export of traditional products influences the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the Cusco region during the period from 2005 to 2019. The methodology used is characterized as descriptive, with a quantitative approach, a non-experimental design, and a correlational scope. The population and sample used in the research were based on data from exports of traditional products and GPD for the years 2005 to 2019. Data collection was carried out the documentary analysis technique, using a documentary analysis guide as research tool. Therefore, the study concludes as follows: the influence of traditional exports from the Cusco Region on the GDP during the years 2005 – 2019 is significant and positive in terms of both constant and current prices according to GDP. With a significance level of 0.031 and 0.037, respectively, an increase of one million soles in GPD at constant prices and an increase of 0.701 million soles in GDP at current prices.
