Vertucci in 1984 and after conducting a study with 2400 permanent pieces found a system of complex ducts, identifying 8 types, this study was done by a process of diafanisacion, this classification we used applying the tomography Conical beam Computerized Objective: The objective of this study was to identify the morphology according to the classification of Vertucci of the root canals in permanent upper first molars by computed conical beam tomography, Clínica stomatological Luis Vallejos Santoni, Cusco 2018-I. Materials and methods: A retrospective, cross-sectional, descriptive and, above all, observational study was carried out taking into consideration the 1.6 parts of 40 tomographies of the radiology area and Diagnostic Imaging of the “Luis Vallejo Santoni“ Stomatology Clinic that met the selection criteria proposed in our study, which was a non-probabilistic sampling for convenience, the present study was conducted in three stages beginning with the delivery and approval of the respective permits; the data collection was carried out in the radiology and Diagnostic Imaging area of the Stomatology Clinic using the IRYS VIEWER software, which allowed us to make the respective cuts and appreciate our problem area in greater detail, the analysis of the tomographies was for a space of 15 20 minutes, with a maximum of 5 tomographies per day to avoid fatigue and fatigue of the researcher. In the data collection and after performing axial, sagittal and coronal slices, the number of roots was determined, assessing the existence of three and four roots, whether they are separated or fused, as well as some variant in the first upper right molar. Results: It was observed that the highest frequency in terms of roots was that of 3 separated roots, followed by that of 4 separate roots and finally that of 3 fused roots and in the type of duct and according to the Vertucci classification. the highest percentage was type I, followed by type III and type V.
