Due to the rapid growth of the vehicle fleet and the limited improvement in the physical conditions of the cities, traffic congestion has become one of the main urban problems, which is why today road and urban planning is of the utmost importance. The main objective of this research thesis was to analyze the operational difference, by calculating service levels, for two scenarios, the first in normal conditions and the second, the partial closure of the roads for the qualification of Sunday cycle paths. The same that will serve to raise awareness among families and new users who want to have a recreational space for the use of the bike. The comparison of results between the current situation and the proposed road closure has a road impact that has been evaluated in this thesis. The purpose of this analysis is to verify that there are adequate traffic conditions when the roads are closed. The methodology of use is that of ROAD CAPACITY through the use of the HCM 2010 Manual, which allows us to calculate parameters such as road capacity, saturation and congestion, as well as vehicle delays and maximum and average queue lengths.
