The present research It aim to analyze and evaluate the mechanical behavior of a sample of conventional concrete f'c 210 kg / cm2 yf'c 175 kg / cm2, to replace the fine aggregate in different percentages by rubber granules, and from the results obtained whether there is an increase or decrease in the values of resistance to compression. It should be noted that the quantity of rubber granules which was be incorporated into the mixture, that is a percentage of the volume of fine aggregate required for the elaboration of a specific concrete. It should be noted that the materials used in the development of the different trials of this investigation, have come to be subject to continuous quality control for the purpose of giving greater reliability to the results. The fine aggregate was obtained from the quarries of Cunyac and Huacarpay, and the coarse aggregate from the quarry's Vicho, while the rubber granules (result of Trituration of the rubber obtained of tire recycling, which previously were separated all its constituent elements: fabrics, cables, tires, rubber itself, for purposes of use in sports fields synthetic gras) were obtained from a provider located in the town of Huasao, district of SayIIa. With this concluded research; it can be inferred the following: • That substituting 30% of the volume of fine aggregate by rubber granulate is obtained an concrete tougher with respect to a conventional f’c 210 kg / cm2, and for a particular conventional f'c 175 kg / cm2 the optimal percentage of substitution is the order of 20O/ • That there is no significant variation in consistency of the concrete modified and conventional, for each of the resistors evaluated. • That the production costs of the modified concrete is more expensive than a conventional one, for each of the resistors evaluated.
