The thesis to undergraduates reflects the prospectus a research of the university. This is an indicator of quality. The study has as objective to describe the characteristic’s thesis of undergraduates of Andina nursing college of Cusco, for 2003-2014. Methodology: a study was retrospective and exploratory type. Sample corresponded to 222 theses archived at the library of mentioned school; data collection was carried out through a collection of data with 25 items. The results obtained are: the main theme addressed was education and attitude of users 29,3%; most of these were carried out in the hospital 36,1%, and context applied in the province of Cusco 65,7%; There were few thesis with theoretical references of nurses represented by 4,1%; there’s predominance of the quantitative approach, highlighting the study was observation- descriptive with 46,9%, in terms of the unit of analysis were 18,4% mothers, nurses 14,4% and adults 10,8%; the technique of data collection was the interview with a 62,2%, while the instrument applied in the majority of theses was the survey with 37,4%, the validation of their instruments used in the judgment of experts in 50,9%; on ethical aspects dominance consent informed-authorization of the institution and coordinate with responsible 40,5%. Analysis of data 56,8% used measures of central tendency, 41% non-parametric statistical test of Chi square.
