The purpose of this work was to analyze the relationship between the comprehensive management of water resources and the sustainability of the production of short-stemmed vegetables in the District of Saylla Cusco, 2022. The study was developed within a quantitative, basic type paradigm, with a correlational scope and a non-experimental design. The population was 180 farmers and a sample of 109. A questionnaire was designed that was validated by expert judgment. The results of the study show that the level of comprehensive management of water resources in the production of short-stemmed vegetables in the District of Saylla Cusco is predominantly of a regular level for 61.5% of the producers and poor for 38.5%. %; On the other hand, 50.5% of producers affirm that the sustainability of vegetable production is of a low level, and 49.5% maintain that the sustainability of vegetable production is of a medium level. It is concluded that at 95% confidence level of the chi-square test that there is a direct and significant relationship between the comprehensive management of water resources and the sustainability of the production of short-stemmed vegetables in the District of Saylla Cusco, 2022 (p-value =0.022<0.05); As the comprehensive management of water resources improves the sustainability of the production of short-stemmed vegetables in the Saylla District, province and department of Cusco, it also improves by 21.9%.
