Objective: This research work is aimed at determining the differences in the photographic characteristics of two cellular devices, iOS and Android, in intraoral photographs of patients in a private practice in the city of Cusco, 2022. Material and Method: This research is of quantitative approach, observational, analytical and cross-sectional design. Seventy-six intraoral photographs of patients from a private practice were used, taken under the same conditions with both cellular devices; 38 intraoral photographs with the IOS device (Iphone 12) and 38 intraoral photographs with the ANDROID device (Xiaomi Redmi Note 9). These were analyzed digitally; assigning scores according to focus, illumination, use of flash and saturation. Obtaining conclusions of bad, regular, good and excellent. Thus, Fisher's test and normality tests were used to evaluate the data. Results: In the research it was obtained that evaluating each of the four aspects mentioned, the percentages of each intraoral photograph with each cellular equipment presenting focus: IOS 92.1%, ANDROID 100%. Correct exposure lighting: IOS 65.8%, ANDROID 42.1% Normal flash usage: IOS 50%, ANDROID 97.4%, Daylight saturation: IOS 73.3%, ANDROID 26.3%. Conclusions: If there are differences in photographic characteristics in intraoral photographs where the highest rating values were obtained by the IOS system compared to the ANDROID system.
